Hi Robert.
Are you having trouble again logging in ?
Dave has agreed to help me next week to try to get the Organ ready for May Day at Urmston.
I have not done anything with it since acquiring it so it will need a good check over and a bit of tidying up.
Regards

Hi Robert.
Stuart's organ will still operate on books (although I have never seen it!), the MIDI modification runs in parallel with the keyframe, but most of the music has gone missing.
There is still a small selection of books, so I may try and give them a run at Mayday.
Best regards,
Dave |

oh thats good!
I was told that unfortunetly all the 31 keyless books were sold to Nick Williams which is a shame but Stuart prefered the Midi apparently!
see you at Mayday and lets hope for good weather (for once) |

Hi Robert.
Glad you have been able to sign in under your own name again.
With reference to the Keyframe on Stuarts Organ,----It was never removed . The midi modification was an addition to the existing keyless system and the Organ will still play book music if required.
Unfortunately most of the book music was sold sometime ago, a few books remain with the organ and as Dave says will be played from time to time just to keep the keyframe in working order.
If in the future any books come on the market that are reasonably priced I will consider buying them.
regards

I hope that organ does well at the May Day event,
I won't able to come to the May Day event as I will be at the City Of Notts steam rally at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham on may 5th (which is a saturday), were I will be having about 1 or 2 sessions of hand-turing Gary Hall's 21 keyless Trueman pipe organ & also filming & taking photo's of the other organs, engines ect..
