Hi Dave.
I have just listened to the recordings you made of the ex Ian Goodwin 105 note Leach Organ "Magic Flute"now owned by Duncan Mallows.

What a fantastic Sounding organ. Smile
I particularly liked "Cleopatra" and "Herinneringen" but enjoyed all the other tunes as well. Very Happy
The big question is will Duncan be releasing the CD for general sale as I am sure it would be a huge success. Question

Regards
George.

Hi George.

Thanks for your feedback. Very Happy

Duncan will be releasing a CD (Volume 1), as soon as I establish the playlist with him.

The CD you listened to is my proposal for the first volume.

As you say George, it should be a success, because there have not been any previously released CDs of this organ.

The recording session. The traffic cones were an attempt to subdue the woodblocks slightly!

The new pictures on the lower flap of the organ had only just been returned from the artist a few days before.

Watch this space for updates.

Or watch Duncan's website: www.themelodyman.co.uk/magicflute.php
There is a sample from the (proposed) CD on the 'Magic Flute' webpage.

Regards,

Dave

An update on the 'Magic Flute' 105 Note Leach Concert Organ:

There are now two volumes of music available on CD.

For details, view Duncan's website:

I listend to some of the samples, I think its a great sounding organ. I've only heard & seen an few Leach organs at some the rallies I've been to.
I might got one of the CD's so I can listen to it when at home, on the bus or on hoilday.
