|
|
Hi Folks!
I have modified the picture viewing abilities yet again!
An external picture linked using the "URL" tag will be 'restricted' if it exceeds the current width limit of 625 pixels.
The picture will appear with scroll bars.
Sorry to be a pain with all these picture modifications, but there is no built in size limiting for externally linked pictures on the Forum software and I was determined to keep the Forum to 800 pixels wide.
Anything wider will 'break' the right side of the Forum.
To avoid being restricted, please try to keep all your pictures to within a 625 pixel square.
This should display OK on Internet Explorer version 4 through 6.
If you are using anything earlier, the picture may not display correctly, if so, please let me know.
Regards, Dave (Admin) |

|
|
I have updated the main Organ Alley web site.
There are still one or two glitches to 'iron out', but in the main everything seems OK.
The links to all the websites pages have been replaced with 'drop-down' menus.
I have added more photographs and a new Photo Viewer, which shows the picture and a caption detailing the pictures subject.
There are still a few captions to enter, these are mainly organs that I am not sure of the details. Please send me updated information if you have any.
I have disabled the background sound file download, as this was taking too long on dial-up connections. However, you can still listen to it by clicking on a link at the bottom of the Home and GDSF pages.
The site should display OK on most versions of Internet Browser, but only Internet Explorer Version 4 or later. If you have any problems, please let me know.
You can go to the site here: http://www.dsvc.co.uk/index.php
Let me know how your viewing goes!
Best regards,
