Hi Folks!
I would like to wish everyone a very happy and (hopefully!) a prosperous 2008.
I think that it is very likely that I will be removing the Organ Alley website and forum this year.
I appreciate that it is difficult for enthusiasts to spread themselves thinly across all the various forums on the net, but the site is not being used as much as I hoped for.
The main problem, I think, is that the site is too 'specific' in its content and this makes it rather inflexible.
Also, it is highly probable that the GDSF doesn't want another Organ Alley, so this site will become redundant.
However, I may be replacing it with another similar site, just not related to the GDSF.
As I usually make-it-up-as-I-go, I haven't decided yet, so I will announce any future changes as they are developed.
Best Regards,
Dave Stubbs |

Happy New Year to you, Dave and to all the members of Organ Alley.
At the outset, the Organ Alley website and forum seemed like a good idea for like-minded enthusiasts to air their views and keep up to date with organ related events.
Circumstances have now changed and it appears that the GDSF organizers no longer wish to support Organ Alley.
Members may not be aware that you have financed and administered the website/forum in spite of having a business to run and maybe now is the time to call it a day and redirect your skills to something more worthwhile.
Thanks mate for all you have done over the past couple of years to administer this site. Please keep us all informed of any future plans you may have.
It looks like Office Dibble may be redundant soon (Any chance of a 'golden handshake'?)!
Regards,
