I have been asked to find the answer to a trivia Music Question.
On the back of a Bank of England £20 note there is a picture of Sir Edward Elgar.
On the front of the Bank note there are some musical notes . Does anyone know what piece of music the notes are from.
Regards

Hi George, I took up your challenge and contacted the Bank of England and asked them about those musical notes. I had a reply today from them and they are just random musical notes representing Elgars work. They are not any apecific or particular tune. Bob |

Thanks Bob,and congratulations.
I never thought of asking the Bank of England.
No one that I have asked has been able to provide an answer before, so you can give yourself a big pat on the back.
Regards
