The Lincoln Hand Turned Organ Grind takes place on Sunday August 6th. This week I was informed that the promised appearance money would not be forthcoming. This has meant that one or two have now declined to attend ( thanks pals) If anyone else would like to join the REAL enthusiasts, please let me know and I will give you the lowdown of where and when. Don't worry though, I won't hold my breathe. best regards, Bob West

The Lincoln Organ Grind went off very well today. The sun shone and made it a nice day out for everyone who turned up. Organs were presented by Ted & Sylvia Hemmings, Ned Kaye, Victor & Maureen Churchill, Roger Shaw, Mick Llewellyn and his wife and daughter, Colin and Tina Parker Dennis Baumer and his wife and daughter, Tony York, Graham Whitehead, John Chapman, and myself. Derek Stevenson was there giving moral support and acting as relief organ grinder when necessary. This is a fine location for staging an event like this and todays event was well received by the public and businesses on Brayford Wharf.
Thanks to all who took part. Bob West
